There are a some decent items that will help a beginner, but a lot of instances in the book where he contradicts himself or fails to provide complete information, which leaves you guessing your way through some parts.

There’s lemon pepper, garlic salt, corn syrup, Kitchen Bouquet, Pick-A-Peppa sauce, seasoned salt, the list goes on. That said he has some good smoked ones and his mustard slaughters really work, Thought everything using them would taste like a hot dog, but they enhance the flavor with no mustard taste.
